At least 43 killed in church attack in eastern DR Congo
At least 43 people have been killed in an attack by militants, with ties to ISIS, on a church in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

News Center- At least 43 people were killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) after a Catholic church was attacked by the members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) on Sunday.
The attack took place on Sunday while people were gathering for a night vigil at the church located in the northeastern town of Komanda, according to MONUSCO, the UN peacekeeping mission in the DRC.
15 people were reportedly injured in the attack while many people remain missing.
The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an insurgent group with ties to ISIS, emerged in Uganda in the 1990s. The group operates in the borderland between Uganda and the DRC, and has repeatedly conducted attacks against civilians.
