News Center- Bişeng Brûsk, a member of the PKK Youth Committee and the Coordination of the Young Women's Community (Komalên Jinên Ciwan), and Sara Hogir Riha, a senior member of the Youth Committee, were killed in Turkish airstrikes on the Medya Defence Areas on July 23, 2023.

On the second year of their deaths, Kurdish musician Viyan Kiçî released the “Bişenga Min” song.

“This song is to commemorate the heroism of Bişeng Brûsk,” said Viyan Kiçî. “The people of Botan have named their children after Bişeng to keep her memory alive. I listened to this song voiced by Salîhe Şirnexî and I was impressed by it. That’s why I decided to sing it. Now, I dedicate this song to Bişeng and Sara. This song was released on the anniversary of their martyrdom.”
