Nearly 20,000 people killed in Israeli assault on Gaza
At least 19,453 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli assault since October 7, the Gaza health ministry said on Monday.

According to the ministry, Israel has used 53,000 tons of bombs in its attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, resulting in the complete destruction of 52,500 buildings and partial destruction of 306,500 buildings. The statement said that 126 government buildings and 112 mosques were completely destroyed, and 200 more mosques were partially destroyed.
According to the statement, 22 hospitals and 53 medical centers are out of service due to Israeli airstrikes and the Israeli army targeted 138 healthcare facilities. 102 ambulances became unusable after being targeted by the Israeli army.
Since October 7, at least 300 medical workers, 32 Civil Defense members and 96 journalists have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, the statement said.
At least 25 Palestinians killed in Rafah
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the Israeli army intensified its attacks on the Rafah area. At least 25 Palestinians were killed, dozens more were injured in the attacks on the Rafah area.
