New measures to reduce air pollution in Iran
Due to deteriorating air quality in Tehran and Alborz province, face-to-face education in schools has been suspended and vehicles using diesel fuel are not allowed to enter the city center.
News Center- The Deputy Governor General of Tehran announced that classes would be held virtually due to deteriorating air quality in Tehran.
The Deputy Governor General of Tehran stated that the decision was taken upon the recommendation of the Air Pollution Emergency Committee. According to the decision, face-to-face education in schools was suspended on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Air Pollution Emergency Committee decided not to allow vehicles using diesel fuel to enter the city center for two days.
Classes will be held virtually in Alborz
The Governor of Alborz Province also decided to suspend face-to-face education in schools because of the high levels of air pollution. Classes will be held virtually in many cities of Alborz province, except in the cities of Taleqan and Asara.
