Journalist Nurcan Yalçın released

Journalist Nurcan Yalçın, who was taken into custody on February 4 in Diyarbakır province, has been released under judicial control.

Amed – On February 4, police raided the house of journalist Nurcan Yalçın and detained her as part of an investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. In custody, Nurcan Yalçın was questioned about one of her news videos about the curfew declared in the Sur district of Diyarbakır in 2015. Yesterday, Nurcan Yalçın was sent to the Criminal Court of Peace for arrest.
The court has ruled the release of Nurcan Yalçın under judicial control.
