Israel-Palestine conflict enters its 5th day

The Israel-Palestine conflict continues on its fifth day. Israel continued its bombardment of the Gaza Strip overnight. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Tuesday that Israel Defense Forces are moving to 'full offence'.

News Center- The Israel-Palestine conflict that started following the “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” by Al-Qassam Brigades, military wing of Hamas, has entered its fifth day. Israel has halted supplies of electricity, food, water and fuel to the Gaza Strip. Palestine has called for a “safe corridor to ensure the entry of urgent medical and food aid” into Gaza.

 According to the received reports, people living in the Gaza Strip left their homes and took shelter in the city center as Israeli warplanes hammered neighborhoods in the strip yesterday. After last night Israeli strikes, clouds of smoke rose over Gaza. Intense bombardment by Israeli warplanes on Gaza’s Rimal, al-Daraj, al-Karama and Al-Furqan neighborhoods continued all night.

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Monday that more than 137,000 people in Gaza have taken refuge in UNRWA-run schools in Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has claimed that Israel utilized phosphorus bombs during its attacks on densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip.

8 journalists killed

The Palestinian enclave's press office said on Wednesday that at least eight journalists were killed and two others went missing in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. The names of the killed journalists are: Said al-Tavil, Muhammed Subh, Hisham en-Nawacihe, Ibrahim Lafi, Muhammed Cergun, Muhammed es-Salihi, Esad Shemlah and Selame Mime. The names of two missing journalists are: Nidal al-Vahidi and Heysem Abdulvahid.

‘Full offence’

Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Tuesday that Israel Defence Forces are moving to 'full offence' against the Gaza Strip. Israel Defence Forces on Tuesday said that dozens of Israeli fighter jets struck over 200 targets in the Al-Furqan neighborhood. “This is the third counterstrike in the area during the last 24 hours, in which 450 targets were struck,” said Israel Defence Forces.

Israeli Army: 169 Israeli soldiers have been killed

The Israeli army said on Wednesday that at least 169 Israeli soldiers have been killed in fighting with Hamas after its militants launched a shock cross-border attack.
