News Center- The 35th Women Iranian Chess Championship held at the Tournament hall of Iran Chess Federation in Tehran on Thursday.
Anahita Zahedifar won the championship, with 8 points out of 9 rounds. In the first round, she defeated Sahar Masoumi.
In the second round, Mitra Asgharzadeh beat Adrina Imani. Seyedeh Malihe Ahmadi defeated Fariba Zendehboodi in the third round.
In the final round, Anahita Zahedifar won the championship with 8 out of 9 rounds. Mitra Asgharzadeh became the runner-up with 7.5 points. Sahar Masoumi placed third at the championship with 7 points.
