International campaign by women against use of chemical weapons

The Argentine Solidarity with Kurdish Women's Movement Committee has launched an international campaign against the use of chemical weapons in the Kurdistan Region by Turkey.

News Center- The Argentine Solidarity with Kurdish Women's Movement Committee has launched an international campaign against the use of chemical weapons in the Kurdistan Region by Turkey. Activities will be carried out as part of the campaign, which will continue until steps are taken to prevent the use of chemical weapons by Turkey.

One of the activities of the campaign aims to mobilize the international human rights organizations and institutions against the use of chemical weapons by Turkey. The first stage of the campaign will be held between November 1 and November 30 on mostly social media platforms. A press conference is planned to be held with the participation of well-known personalities in the second week of November. During all activities, events and protests to be organized on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25, women will emphasize that the use of chemical weapons is a crime against humanity. 

Declaration from women

The declaration released by the committee emphasized that a freedom movement that gives life to a paradigm based on women's freedom cannot be stopped by attacks and chemical weapons. In the declaration, the first aim of the campaign is to be an international campaign.

The declaration also recalled that chemical weapons have been used against the Kurdish people many times and called on all people to raise their voices so that history would not repeat itself.

A mass march

In the declaration, the committee also announced that a mass march will be held on November 30 as part of the campaign aiming to strengthen international solidarity around the world against the use of chemical weapons.
