Riha (Urfa)- The festival organized in the Xelfetî (Halfeti) district of Riha (Urfa) to mark the 76th birthday of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan continues on its second day.

On the first day of the festival that kicked off on Thursday,  women carried torches and held different activities.

As part of the program of the festival, the Free Women’s Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) will organize a march to the neighborhood of Amara, where Abdullah Öcalan was born.

The march is expected to start at 1 PM.
