News Center- On April 25, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued against 216 people, including journalists and lawyers, by the Diyarbakır Public Prosecutor’s Office in the line with testimonies of a person named Ümit Akbıyık. 52 of those detained were imprisoned pending trial on terrorism-related charges.

Lawyers Burhan Arta, Özüm Vurgun, Serhat Hezer and Şerzan Yelboğa were four of them. Today, they have been released from prison under judicial control.
