Women attend educational workshop to strengthen themselves

Women’s Council of the Future Syria Party has held an educational workshop named “Martyr Sewsen Birhat” for the council’s members. The council aims to strengthen women in all areas.

Manbij- Women’s Council of the Future Syria Party started to hold an educational workshop named “Martyr Sewsen Birhat” for the council’s members in Manbij on September 7. The aim of the workshop is to strengthen women in politics. Ezab El-Ebud, the chair of the Women’s Council of the Future Syria Party, spoke to our news agency about the workshop.

“Women are the base of society”

Azab El-Ebud emphasized that a solution without women’s participation particularly in politics and in drafting a new constitution is impossible. “Women are the base of society. They play an important role in building a democratic and secure society. Our workshop aims to empower women in politics to build a democratic and secure society. ”

“We wanted to discuss our responsibilities”

Xaliya Kaciwan, the spokesperson of the Women’s Council of the Future Syria Party, also talked about the aims of the workshop and she said, “Our first aim is to consider the stage we are in. We also aim to discuss our political, organizational, social responsibilities. The Women’s Council always can organize women in Manbij, Raqqa, Tabqa, Cizre, and many other cities of Syria and it can ensure the unity among women.”

“We work to strengthen women”

The Women’s Council of the Future Syria Party was formed on November 24, 2020. Xaliya Kaciwan gave information about the works of the council. “The council was formed after preparation of the action plan. Holding educational workshops is one of the aims of the action plan. Women needed educational workshops that empower them in politics in NE Syria. We held our first workshop in Cizre Region. The workshop in Manbij is the second one. We work to strengthen women in NE Syria.”
