Where is Hürmüz Diril?

The fate of Hürmüz Diril, who has been missing for a year, has been brought to the agenda of the Assembly.
News Center-Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP Nuran İmir has asked Vice President Fuat Oktay about the fate of Hürmüz Diril, who went missing in Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak province. Nuran İmir has submitted a Parliamentary question regarding Hürmüz Diril and Şimuni Diril, who went missing on January 11, 2020. The dead body of Şimuni Diril was found on March 20, 2020. Nuran İmir has demanded the incident to be resolved as soon as possible.
In the parliamentary question, it is highlighted that Hürmüz and Şimuni Diril are Syriacs and the ongoing missing incidents are concerning incidents for Syriac people. In the parliamentary question, it is stated that “All citizens are equal and the state must fulfill all its obligations to approach all citizens equally. For this reason, the missing of Diril couple and the death of Şimuni Diril must be resolved; an effective investigation should be carried out rapidly.”
