News Center- The People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) held a press conference in the party’s headquarters to announce the decisions taken at the central executive board meeting.

At the press conference, Ayşegül Doğan, Spokesperson of the DEM Party, announced that the party would field candidates in Adana, Antalya, Mersin, Istanbul, Aydın, Konya, Kocaeli, Izmir, Manisa, Çanakkale and Tekirdağ. “In the upcoming local elections, our party will field candidates in Adana's Ceyhan, Seyhan and Yüreğir districts, Antalya's Kepez district, Mersin’s Akdeniz, Toroslar and Tarsus districts, Istanbul's Esenyurt, Sancaktepe, Adalar and Sultanbeyli districts, Aydın’s Didim, Efeler, Germencik and Söke districts, Konya’s Cihanbeyli and Kulu districts, Kocaeli’s Dilovası district, Izmir’s Torbalı, Bayraklı and Menemen districts, Manisa’s Gölmarmama, Turgutlu and Yunusemre districts, Çanakkale’s Gökçeada district and Tekirdağ’s Çorlu and Çerkezköy districts,” Ayşegün Doğan said.

The party will later announce the other cities and districts where the party will field candidates. In Turkey, the local elections will be held on March 31, 2024.
