Sorayya Haghdoust was arrested on June 17 “acting against national security” through propaganda activities aimed at boycotting Iran’s recent presidential elections. She was held at the Juvenile Detention Centre of Sanandaj. Security officers had transferred the activist to Sanandaj after her arrest in Marivan as there is no detention center for women in this city.
