Journalist Zeynep Durgut was summoned to testify within the scope of an investigation opened against her for her journalistic activities.
News Center - An investigation has been opened against Mesopotamia News Agency (MA) reporter Zeynep Durgut for covering a commemoration for Zeynep (Zilan) Kınacı organized by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in the Cizre district of Şırnak province on July 1 on charges of “praising crime and criminal”. Today, the journalist was summoned to testify by Cizre Police Headquarters.
Journalist Zeynep Durgut reportedly denied all accusations against her in her testimony.
