First hearing of ‘Lemon juice’ trial postponed
The first hearing of the trial launched against women politicians Ayla Akat Ata, Meryem Adıbelli, Dilek Yağlı, Pervin Oduncu and Ayşe Yağcı for making lemon juice at their ward has been postponed.
News Center- The first hearing of the trial launched against women politicians Ayla Akat Ata, Meryem Adıbelli, Dilek Yağlı, Pervin Oduncu and Ayşe Yağcı for making lemon juice at their ward has been postponed to October 20.
An indictment was prepared by Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the women politicians on charges of “smuggling prohibited items into a penal institution or prison”. The indictment was accepted by the Ankara West 11th Criminal Court of First Instance although the forensic report said there was no percentage of “ethyl alcohol” in lemon juice found in the ward.
The women politicians face prison sentences for making lemon juice at their ward.
