5 women detained in Nusaybin
Five women, including a member of Peace Mothers, were taken into custody in the house raids conducted in Mardin’s Nusaybin district.
Mêrdin – In the morning, police raided many houses in the Nusaybin district of Mardin province. The doors of some houses were reportedly broken by police. Five women, Peace Mother Seyran Ünüşdü, Hayat Akdaş, Bilmez Arı, Sedika İlhan and Şehriban Demir were taken into custody after the house raids. The women have been reportedly held in the Special Operations Branch of Nusaybin.
