Kune Masî stream in Sulaymaniyah dries up

Kune Masî stream in Sulaymaniyah has dried up due to drought in the region. In summer the stream is a picnic area for the local people but the people visiting the area these days are shocked when they see the dried up stream.

Sulaymaniyah - Kune Masî stream located in the Kuna Masî village of Sulaymaniyah’s Şarbajara district is a well-known picnic area for the local people. The local people have visited the area in summer to have a picnic but this year the people are shocked when they see that the Kune Masî stream has dried up. Kuna Masî, located 56 kilometers northeast of Sulaymaniyah, is still popular among people for its spring water and natural beauties.

Local people are worried

The stream has dried up due to drought in the region. The water crisis has affected many Middle Eastern countries, particularly Iran, Iraq, and Syria. The dried Kune Masî stream worries the people of Sulaymaniyah. The people visiting the stream to have a picnic and get rid of excess hot weather have to return with great disappointment.
