4th International Istanbul VegFest was held with the motto, “Give Life a Chance”. The festival is one of the many events that are organized globally under different names in order to create awareness about veganism.
Istanbul- 4th International Istanbul VegFest held by the Vegan Association of Turkey with the motto, “Give Life a Chance” ended. The association held the festival in cooperation with 14 national and international animals rights organizations. 51 foreign and local speakers attended the festival this year to raise awareness about veganism. The festival lasted 24 hours with the support of a volunteer team consists of 35 people.
“If the temperature keeps increasing, we will lose vertebrates”
Animal rights activist James Özden, a member of a group of activists known as Animal Rebellion, made a speech and pointed out the increasing temperature all around the world. “If the temperature keeps increasing, we will lose vertebrates,” James Özden said.
