The 2nd Women’s Poetry and Literature Festival Held in Halabja
At the 2nd Women’s Poetry and Literature Festival held in Halabja, poets read their works and the development of women’s literature was highlighted.

Halabja – The Halabja Directorate of Culture and Arts organized the 2nd Women’s Poetry and Literature Festival with the participation of poets and writers.
Poet Rezan Muhammed Said, who took part in the festival, said: “Such festivals are an opportunity to present our works and to learn from each other.” Zyan Said Karadaghi, who came from Sulaymaniyah to participate in the festival, stated: “Many women read their poems. We thank them for coming together in Halabja, a wounded city, and recognizing each other.”
During the event, eight poets recited their poems and two researchers gave presentations. The program concluded with the sharing of research on poetry and an award ceremony.
