Amed- The opening ceremony of the office of the Women’s Association For Culture, Art and Literature (KASED) was held yesterday with the motto, “Art is for everybody”. Activists of the Free Women’s Movement (TJA), Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MPs Semra Güzel, Ebru Günay, Pero Dündar, members of the Trade Union of Employees in Public Health and Social Services (SES), the Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER) and the Mesopotamia Female Journalists’ Platform and many women attended the opening ceremony.

The association chairperson Devrim Demir made an opening speech during the opening ceremony. “Women’s works have been ignored in every age. Women’s artistic works are never accepted. It should never be forgotten that women's art cannot be ignored. Now, it is time for women to protect their art,” she said in her speech. After the opening speech, JinMa musical group gave a concert. The people, who attended the ceremony, danced halay during the concert.
