News Center- The Party of Greens and the Left Future, abbreviated as Green Left Party, is going to hold rallies in many regions as part of its election campaign for the parliamentary elections to be held in Türkiye on May 14, 2023.

Women of Van held a press conference at the election office of the Green Left Party in Van with the participation of the members of the Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA), the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women’s Council, the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), the Association for Assistance and Solidarity with the Families of Detainees and Convicts (TUHAY-DER), the Women’s Commission of the Lawyers Association for Freedom (ÖHD), the Peace Mothers’ Initiative and women candidates of the Green Left Party.

‘Women will determine the election results’

The women announced that they would hold a rally in Van on April 26, 2023. Ebru Demirtepe, a member of the ÖHD, called on all women to participate in the rally, saying, “Women will determine the election results.”

The rally will be held at the Musa Anter Peace Park at 10 am on April 26. HDP Co-chair Pervin Buldan, Başak Demirtaş, the Green Left Party’s parliamentary candidates of Van province will participate in the rally as speakers.
