Women in Germany send hundreds of letters to CPT
Nûda Women’s Council has sent hundreds of letters to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) to ensure the physical freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
News Center- The letter-writing campaign launched by the European Kurdish Women's Movement to prompt the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) to ensure the physical freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan continue.
The Nûda Women’s Council based in Germany’s Freiburg im Breisgau city sent 857 letters to the CPT, calling on the CPT to fulfill its responsibility.
In the letters, women stress that no news has been received from Abdullah Öcalan for three years and that they cannot no longer remain silent about this injustice
