Serpil Geyik, a member of the association, made a speech about the family’s demand for justice. “We wanted to support Emine Şenyaşar’s struggle for justice. We are here to be the voice of a mother demanding justice. Nothing changes although days, months and years have passed. But we believe that justice will be delivered one day. As women, we share Emine Şenyaşar’s pain. Emine Şenyaşar keeps sitting in front of the courthouse although the city is a feudal city. As women, we always stand by this mother symbolizing justice. Today, we will hold the sit-in protest with them,” Serpil Geyik said in her speech.
“We will bring justice together”
“The mother has received the greatest support from women in her struggle for justice. As a woman, the mother demands justice for everyone.
