Ağrı- Metin Tunç (27), who is a village guard in the Qela Quli (Tepeönü) village of Ağrı’s Patnos district, fled after killing his wife Birsel Tunç (24) and his brother-in-law Fecri Tunç (34) and seriously injuring two women named Nuriye Tunç and Hanım Tunç.

Yesterday, Metin Tunç was detained in the village of Qela Quli by soldiers. He was taken to the Patnos Police Department. After the legal process completed at the police department, he was referred to the Patnos Courthouse. Metin Tunç has been sent to Patnos L-type Prison.

According to the local sources, Birsel Tunç had been subjected to violence by Metin Tunç for years.
