‘Turkish occupation attacks continue despite agreements’
Women in Til Temir, North and East Syria, condemned Turkish-backed mercenary infiltrations, rejecting violations and urging the immediate enforcement of the March 10 agreement to protect the region’s security and stability.

Til Temir (Tell Tamer) - The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue targeting areas in North and East Syria, in blatant violation of the March 10 agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Interim Government in Damascus, which aims to calm the situation and guarantee regional stability.
In a new escalation, Turkish-backed mercenaries attempted a nighttime infiltration of Tal Al-Laban village in Til Temir in recent days. They were repelled, forcing them to retreat, which sparked widespread anger among the women of Til temir, who voiced their firm rejection of these ongoing violations against the security and stability of the region.
Turkey threatens peace in North and East Syria
Israr Na’ama, a displaced woman from the occupied city of Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ayn), stated that Turkish forces and their mercenaries continue attacks on North and East Syria through multiple methods, aiming to keep residents in a constant state of fear and tension.
She explained that these attacks were a reaction to the “Permanent People's Security” operation carried out by the SDF in Hasakah, which resulted in the arrest of 51 ISIS members—a move that angered the Turkish-backed mercenaries, viewing the operation as a direct blow.
Na’ama added that these escalations are intended to undermine peace efforts and derail the March 10 agreement, noting that Turkey exerts significant pressure on the negotiation process to block any chance for a political solution. She stressed that full implementation of the agreement’s provisions, particularly those concerning displaced persons and occupied towns, is essential, emphasizing that ongoing resistance is the only way to counter these systematic policies and protect regional stability.
Crimes against women, forced displacement
Abeer Younis described the nighttime infiltration attempt in Tal Al-Laban as “secretive and abnormal,” stating that its motives were not purely military but also driven by hatred and intent to commit atrocities, targeting women in particular. She explained that the attacks aim to carry out crimes against women, including killing, sexual assault, and abduction, alongside seizing land and displacing residents.
Younis recalled the significant sacrifices made during the July 19 revolution, urging the protection of the martyrs’ legacy and the continuation of their path in confronting these threats, asserting that resistance is the only way to preserve the dignity and rights of the people.
Thousands at risk due to agreement violations
Samar Khalil referenced the March 10 agreement between the SDF and the Syrian Interim Government, with international and intermediary guarantors, highlighting that the Turkish occupation continues to violate it through ongoing attacks.
Khalil called on the international community to intervene immediately, warning that the lives of thousands of civilians are at risk due to repeated violations and that Turkey is actively targeting the region’s residents and lands. She urged, “I call on intermediary states to act immediately to halt Turkish occupation attacks and protect civilians from ongoing escalation.”
