Turkey: Men kill 31 women in November
Men killed at least 31 women, 13 more died under suspicious circumstances in November in Turkey, according to JINNEWS.
News Center- The femicide cases continue to increase in Turkey. Women are killed in the streets, at home and workplace every day. While government officials continue to ignore the femicide cases, the perpetrators are rewarded by the judicial system. According to the news compiled by JINNEWS from local and national newspapers, news websites and news agencies, men killed at least 31 women, 13 more died under suspicious circumstances in November.
In November, most women were killed by their partners and relatives. 15 women were killed by their husbands, eight by their male friends, three by their relatives, one by her ex-husband and one by a man she knew. The perpetrators of the two women haven’t been identified, according to JINNEWS.

JINNEWS has also shared the cities where men killed women in November: Six women were killed in Istanbul, three in Izmir, two in Hatay, two in Antalya, two in Manisa, two in Denizli, one in Amed (Diyarbakır), one in Bursa, one in Kayseri, one in Ankara, one in Muğla, one in Uşak, one in Antep, one in Konya, one in Samsun, one in Erzurum, one in Êlih (Batman), one in Adana, one in Kocaeli and one in Bolu.
According to JINNEWS, five children were killed, and four more children died under suspicious circumstances in November.
