Turkey: 26 women killed in September
In Turkey, 26 women were killed by men in September; the deaths of 19 women were recorded as suspicious deaths, reports We Will Stop Femicide Platform.
News Center- We Will Stop Femicide Platform released its September Femicide report. According to the report, 26 women were killed by men in September; the deaths of 19 women were recorded as suspicious deaths.
The platform reports in its report:
“14 women were killed by their husbands, six women by their partners, two by their fathers, two by their sons, one by her ex-husband, one by her relative. 18 women were killed at home; two of them were killed in fields, one on the street, one in a car, one in a hotel, the places, where three women were killed, couldn’t be determined.”
