TJK-E calls on all women of Kurdistan to participate in march to be held in Cologne
The European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E) calls for the participation in the march to be held in Germany’s Cologne city on February 17 to demand the physical freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
News Center- The European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E) has released a written statement about the march to be held in Germany’s Cologne city on February 17, demanding the physical freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Recalling that the 25th anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan is approaching, the statement said, “We strongly condemn the states involved in this conspiracy, especially the Turkish state, which is the enemy of humanity and women. We are determined to hold the planners, implementers and supporters of the February 15 conspiracy accountable. The 15th February is a dark day for us. We vow to turn 2024 into the year of freedom for leader Apo (Abdullah Öcalan).”
Mentioning the “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question” campaign, the statement said, “Activities and events have been held in four parts of Kurdistan and other countries. Kurdish people, especially women and young people, and Kurdish friends have held marches, conferences, protests and hunger strikes. Kurdish women have led all protests saying, ‘The freedom of leader Apo is our freedom’. The 25th anniversary of the international conspiracy against our leader is approaching. As part of the ‘Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question’ campaign, a march will be held in Cologne on February 17, 2024.”
The statement called on everyone, demanding freedom and equal life and defending human rights, and all women of Kurdistan to participate in the march to be held in Cologne on February 17. “It is time to struggle for victory! It is time to ensure our freedom! Jin, Jiyan, Azadî!”
