Swedish politician cuts off her hair in solidarity with Iranian women
Iraqi-born member of the European Parliament, Abir Al-Sahlani cut off her hair during a speech in the EU assembly in solidarity with Iranian women by chanting the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom)” slogan.
News Center- Iraqi-born member of the European Parliament, Abir Al-Sahlani cut off her hair during a speech in the EU assembly in solidarity with Iranian women and anti-government demonstrations in Iran ignited by the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini by Iranian so-called “Morality police”.
“Until Iran is free, our fury will be bigger than the oppressors. Until the women of Iran are free we are going to stand with you,” she said and chanted the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” slogan.
Abir Al-Sahlani is an Iraqi-born Swedish politician. Since 2019, she has been a member of the European Parliament, representing the Centre Party.
