The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar demanding justice has continued on its 217^th day.

Riha -Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have demanded justice for their killed relatives in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 217 days. The family has held their sit-in protest at a place called, “Justice Corner of the Şenyaşar family.”

“Even though the law is a tool for justice, we cannot always expect justice from it. Because justice needs morality, responsibility, conscience, and virtue. When authorities don’t have these, you face persecution. Like what is happening in front of Şanlıurfa Courthouse…” says today’s tweet of the Şenyaşar family.
