Sit-in protest for justice enters its 402nd day
“Those who cause this unlawfulness will definitely stand trial one day,” the Şenyaşar family says on the 402nd day of their sit-in protest.
Riha - The sit-in protest, also known as “Justice Watch”, started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in the Suruç district of Urfa province by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 402nd day.
On the 402nd day of the sit-in protest, Ferit Şenyaşar went to Elazığ to visit his brother Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been held in prison for four years.
Today, Emine Şenyaşar has held their sit-in protest with her another son Mehmet Şenyaşar.
“They will definitely stand trial”
“The world uses social media to have fun. But we use it to demand justice and the law. Those who cause this unlawfulness will definitely stand trial one day,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
