Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 330th day.
Yesterday, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar were summoned to testify once again by the Suruç Police Department. They went to the police department with their lawyers after holding their protest. The family is accused of violating section 22 of Law No. 2911, Law on Meetings and Demonstrations. Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar were released after testifying. The family has been forced to testify many times since they started their sit-in protest.

Today, the Şenyaşar family went in front of the courthouse in the morning to hold their sit-in protest. “When a cheeky person is strong, the one who is right becomes a criminal! Attacking an ambulance by using guns and paving stones is not a crime but putting the photos of the attacked ambulance on the ground is a crime! The number of investigations opened against the mother (Emine Şenyaşar) is 13,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account.
