Sit-in protest for justice enters its 259th day
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have demanded justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for their killed relatives for 259 days.
Riha- The sit-in protest of Emine Şenyaşar whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 259th day.
The Şenyaşar family went in front of the Urfa Courthouse early in the morning to hold their protest.
The Şenyaşar family posted a tweet and demands the release of journalist Emrullah Acar. “The road to Amendment, Democracy, and Justice will begin at Şanlıurfa Courthouse… It will spread across Turkey… “Journalism is not a crime” #EmrullahAcarıSerbestBırakın (Release Emrullah Acar),” read the tweet.
