“The ruling party goes through a historical test on justice,” said the Şenyaşar family on the 603rd day of their sit-in protest for justice.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 603rd day. In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to hold their sit-in protest for justice by hanging a banner reading, “Justice for the Şenyaşar family”. Mehmet Arif Koçer, president of the HAK (Right) Initiative visited the family today.
Today’s social media post of the Şenyaşar family read, “The ruling party goes through a historical test on justice, the prosecutors coming to the courthouse by driving their luxury cars are helpless... Ignoring the mother, who has been waiting in front of the courthouse for 603 days to demand justice, is unscrupulousness. We are against all injustice practices, stand by teachers.”
