SDC condemns attack on its headquarters in Qamishlo

The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) condemns the attack on its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo, northeastern Syria, emphasizing the attack will not hinder its pursuit for a political stability in Syria.

News Center- The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) has released a statement condemning the attack on its headquarters in Jazira Canton’s Qamishlo city on February 16, 2024.

“A terror attack was carried out on our headquarters in the city of Qamishlo on February 26.  A bomb was thrown into the wall of the building by unknown persons. The attack caused only material damage. The Internal Security Forces have already launched an investigation into the attack,” the statement said.

In the statement, the SDC condemned the attack on its headquarters and said, “The parties behind this attack aim to undermine our national stances, which involve promoting the domestic dialogue at the domestic level and ultimately achieving the democratic transition in Syria. We assure the public opinion that no attack will deter us from striving to make efforts towards the goals we believe in. We are determined to struggle for political stability in Syria.”
