RJAK calls on women to attend its activities aiming to eliminate violence against women
The Kurdistan Free Women's Movement (RJAK) has announced its activities to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The movement calls on women to attend its activities.
News Center- The Kurdistan Free Women's Movement (Rêxistina Jinên Azad a Kurdistanê- RJAK) has issued a press statement to announce its activities for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
“November 25 should be seen by the women of Southern Kurdistan as a day when women raise their voices against gender-based violence. All women should raise their voices against gender-based violence. We, as RJAK, will organize various activities and events this year, as we do every year, to mark this day. We call on all women to attend these activities and events to raise our voices together,” the RJAK said in the statement.
In the statement, the RJAK also announced its program. The program is as follows:
· An art exhibition will be held with the support of the RJAK.
· Seminars will be held to raise awareness about violence against women.
· A march will be held on November 25.
