Repport: 23 Women Killed in Turkey in one Month.

JINNEWS reported that in Novmber,23 women and 3 children were killed, mostly by people they knew. Additionally,8 Women and 3 other children are suspected to have died in various Turkish cities.

News Center – Alarming figures show a rise in femicide and violence against women in Turkey, amid the absence of effective government policies to curb these crimes and ensure victim protection, alongside accusations that the judiciary is covering them up.

JINNEWS published its report today, Monday, December 8, on incidents of violence during the month of November, documenting the killing of 23 women and 3 children, most of them at the hands of people they knew. The report also noted the suspected deaths of 8 women and 3 other children.

According to the report, the killings were distributed across several Turkish cities: 4 cases in Istanbul, 2 in Bursa, 1 in Erzurum, 1 in Aksaray, 1 in Kırklareli, and 1 in Edirne. Izmir recorded 2 cases, Amed (Diyarbakir) 1, Kars 1, Kayseri 3, Antalya 1, Dilok (Gaziantep) 1, Ankara 1, Bilecik 1, Mersin 1, in addition to the killing of one woman in Kharbat.
