RAWA: “Women have no way to break these chains but unity, struggle and stand”

Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) has released a statement on the murder of Mahsa Amini in Iran. In the statement, RAWA calls on all women to unite.

News Center - The killing of Mahsa Amini by the Iranian morality police has caused anger among women all around the world. While some take to the streets to protest the Iranian regime, some release statements to express their solidarity with Iranian women.

The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) has also released a statement on its social media account. The statement is as follows:

“Mahsa in Iran and Elahe in Afghanistan are not the first victims of fundamentalism's brutality, for forty years the women of both countries have been captive in the chains of ignorance and barbarism of the oppressive systems and the enemy of women and humanity. Women have no way to break these chains but unity, struggle and stand. The fight against the fundamentalists of Dedmanesh should be synchronized with the fight against the forces and women of conspirators and defenders of criminals. Women's valor can only be fruitful when they eliminate their ranks from the evil elements and traders.

We have expressed solidarity with Iran's Liberal Movement and we have full faith that the bloodthirsty and hateful regime of "Velayat Faqih" will finally be thrown into the trash bin with the epic rise of the people and especially the brave women of that country. From a hell called Afghanistan, we would like to offer infinite greetings to the rebellious people of Iran. We share your grief.”
