Semsûr (Adıyaman)- Members of the Free Women’s Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Jinên Azad –TJA) and the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women’s Council, feminist women and LGBTI+ people went to Semsûr to determine the needs of women affected by the Maraş earthquakes that affected 11 cities in Turkey. After the determination of the needs of women, a purple truck carrying aid supplies was sent by the Feminist Solidarity for Disaster from Istanbul to Semsûr.

Yesterday, the members of the Feminist Solidarity for Disaster visited many neighborhoods and tents in three groups of 11. The group members spoke to women in order to determine the needs of earthquake survivors.

The Purple Truck carrying women’s underwear, pads, diapers, baby formula, coats, slippers and hygiene materials arrived in Semsûr today. The aid supplies will be given to the earthquake survivors in the city.
