Reactions intensified after a video went viral on digital media, showing a Darfuri woman being tied to a tree and subjected to violence and rape by an RSF member. Women’s organizations and activists stressed that this incident was not merely an individual violation but a reflection of the ongoing systematic violence in the region.
Women are raising their voices, uniting in anger opposite against what they have experienced

He stated that psychological support is being provided at refugee centers and that similar assistance is being provided in collaboration with national organizations.
Women Pay the Price of the Conflict
Women in Darfur are under a heavy economic and psychological burden due to the ongoing conflict. While working long hours in challenging conditions to support their families, they also struggle with the trauma of losing loved ones and being subjected to violence. The collapse of the healthcare sector makes it even more difficult for women to access treatment.
Women Strengthen Solidarity
Activist Samiya Ali described the incident as an insult to all Sudanese women. Journalist Amine Muhammed stated that the Rapid Support Forces's (RSF) is directly targeting civilians, saying, "The violations in Darfur are clear and systematic. These attacks must be stopped immediately, and those responsible must be prosecuted." Sudanese women remain committed to increasing solidarity with women in Darfur and raising their voices nationally and internationally.
