Morocco approves new committee to boost gender equality
The Moroccan government has approved the establishment of the National Committee for Gender Equality and Women's Advancement as part of the government's program 2021-2026.
Morocco - The Morocco’s government has adopted draft order No. 2.22.194 which allows the establishment of the National Committee for Gender Equality and Women's Advancement on Thursday (June 9).
Presented by the Moroccan Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration, and Family, this initiative is part of the government's focus on women's concerns in its government program 2021-2026, particularly on attaining gender equality and empowering women in diverse sectors.
The National Committee for Gender Equality and Women's Advancement aims to boost gender equality and empower Moroccan women in all spheres of life.
