News Center- The number of journalists and media workers, who were taken into custody in dawn house raids conducted in Istanbul and Ankara on Tuesday has risen to nine.

Seven journalists and media workers have been reportedly detained in Istanbul. The names of journalists and media workers detained in Istanbul are: Mesopotamia Agency reporter Esra Solin Dal, Enes Sezgin, an employee of the Yeni Yaşam newspaper, media workers Saliha Aras, Yeşim Alıcı, Beste Argat Balcı and Şirin Ermiş and journalist Erdoğan Alayumat.
