Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 526th day. In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to demand justice again. Today, the members of the Urfa Bar Association visited the family to support their struggle for justice. The members of the bar associations and Mehmet Velat İzol, the head of the bar association have been holding the sit-in protest along with the Şenyaşar family since the morning.

“A mother has demanded justice in Urfa for her relatives, who were murdered at the hospital and her son (Ferit Şenyaşar), who has been held in prison for four years. The whole world has heard her screams but she cannot make her voice to be heard by the authorities,” the Şenyaşar family wrote on their social media account today.
