March 16 declared as official national holiday in Iraq
The Iraqi parliament has declared March 16, the anniversary of the Halabja Massacre as an official holiday.
News Center- The Iraqi parliament passed a proposal demanding March 16, the anniversary of the Halabja Massacre, be declared as an official holiday and then sent the proposal to be signed by Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid.
After Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid approved the proposal, March 16 has been declared as an official holiday in Iraq.
