Many shops, restaurants sealed in Iran over hijab rule
At least 14 shops and restaurants have been sealed in Iran’s four cities for not complying with the compulsory hijab laws.
News Center- Islamic Republic of Iran keeps closing down shops for not complying with the country’s compulsory hijab laws. Yesterday, at least 14 shops and restaurants were sealed in Tehran, Karaj, Qazvin and Kish.
The shops have been sealed because of the refusal of their female customers and employees to wear the government's mandatory hijab. The names of the sealed shops are: White Heart Restaurant in Kish; restaurants named Captain Lounge, Maya, Paradis, Calate Italian, Chilay, Zeus, Almas, Lebridge, Kafe Khaneh Dolat, Pesto and Chekad Coffee House in Tehran. A shop has been reportedly sealed in the city of Karaj for not complying with the compulsory hijab laws.
In addition, two restaurants named Labina and Jaggersaray Saman Tala in Tehran have received a warning for complying with the hijab laws.
