News Center- Members of the Mesopotamia Women’s Journalists Platform (MKGP) and Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) will gather in front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse tomorrow to be in solidarity with the 16 journalists, who were taken into custody and sent to prison on June 16 on charges of “being member of a (terrorist) organization”. Although 16 journalists have been behind bars for six months, no indictment has been prepared against them. The journalists will also draw attention to the situation of the journalists, who do not know the accusations against them for six months.

The MKGP and DFG will release a press statement tomorrow. They call on all NGOs, political parties and citizens to be in solidarity with the jailed journalists.
