Hasakah- The second phase of the “Humanitarian and Security Operation” launched by the General Command of Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria in al-Hol camp against ISIS sleeper cells on August 25 ended on its 24th day. The General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and Syria announced that the second phase of the operation has concluded successfully; however, ISIS continues to pose a threat in the camp. Although the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has called on the countries to repatriate their citizens from the camp many times, they have remained silent against the threat in the camp. NuJINHA spoke to journalist Cihan Bilgin about the ongoing ISIS threat in the camp.

“We reported the relationship between Turkey and ISIS to the world”

Pointing to the relationship between Turkey and ISIS, Cihan Bilgin emphasized that the obtained documents and reports prove the relationship between Turkey and ISIS.

“After the battle for Kobanê in 2015, the relationship between Turkey and ISIS was revealed for the first time. At that time, foreign mercenaries began to enter North and East Syria from Turkey and they even entered Deir ez-Zor and Baxoz. During the operation to liberate Kobanê, we, as journalists, reported the relationship between Turkey and ISIS.”

“Al-Hisbe has a direct relationship with the MIT”

Underlining that ISIS imposes its ideology on the children living in the camp, Cihan Bilgin said, “Children are trained by the women’s structure of Al-Hisbe (The name of the group established by ISIS members in al-Hol camp). The members of Al-Hisbe kill women, who oppose their ideology. For this reason, the threat in the camp continues. Women members of Al-Hisbe have a direct relationship with the MIT (Turkish National Intelligence Organization). Orphans are taken to Turkey and they are trained in Turkey to be the soldiers of Turkey. The women members of Al-Hisbe forcibly take children over seven years old from their mothers and raise them according to the ideology of ISIS.”

“ISIS families wait for a small spark to spread”

“We will continue to reveal the relationship between Turkey and ISIS,” Cihan Bilgin said, “Before the attacks on Serêkaniyê, the relationship between Turkey and ISIS was revealed. The Turkish state occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî. Capitalist countries such as America, Russia and England formed ISIS. ISIS families wait for a small spark to get out of this camp and spread around the world.”

“Countries must repatriate their citizens”

“The threat in the al-Hol camp continues,” Cihan Bilgin said, “Countries must repatriate their citizens from the camp for a permanent solution. The foreign families in the camp want to return to their countries. But they do not want to face hostility when they return to their countries.”
