News Center- The Palestinian health ministry has announced that 15-year-old Mohammad Farid al-Za'areer was shot and killed by Israel forces near the town of al-Sumo’, the south of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khalil (Hebron), on Tuesday.

The Israeli army claimed that the 15-year-old boy was killed for attempting a knife attack.

Presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh released a written statement condemning Israel for its crimes in the West Bank. He wrote that Palestinians have been killed by Israel forces due to the international silence and the lack of accountability that encouraged Israel to continue its crimes against Palestinians.

“Israel violates international law by killing civilians every day,” said the statement. In the statement, Nabil Abu Rudeineh called on the international organizations, especially the United Nations (UN) Security Council, to provide international protection to Palestinians and on the US administration to intervene before “it is too late”.
