News Center- The Vice-chief of the Zikar Court of Appeals, Mohammad Hassan Ibrahim held a press conference after a meeting with a delegation of the United Nations (UN). He announced that 560 incidents of violence against women were recorded in the Zikar province of Iraq in 2022.

 “According to statistics, 560 incidents of violence against women were recorded in the province of Zikar last year,” he said.

Noting that most of the incidents of violence against women were domestic violence, he said that two children were raped by their father in the province in 2022.
